After a stressful day in Rouen, we settled into our quaint “Le Beach Hotel” in Calvados. Elaine took a rest and I decided to use the time before dinner to take a walk along the pier and the beach. Seeing the ocean for the first time in years felt wonderful. We also had a decent dinner the “Le Marinette” restaurant. It also afforded us some much needed down time to get better acquainted with our fellow tour inmates.
