Last weekend, Melissa and I went for a Sunday drive and we stopped at Dalvay Beach. The weather was gray, cold and the sun was barely poking through the clouds. This is not such a bad thing – it’s better for the sky to add a bit of drama to what would otherwise be somewhat run of the mill photos.
We also rode out to Cavendish Beach, however, some access roads were closed so we drove around. On the way there, we noticed quite a number of fallen trees caused by Hurricane Dorian in September. Vestiges of this storm’s destructive force are still found all over PEI, whether it is fallen trees, damaged crops, torn rooftops, toppled barns and so on.
