One of my projects to kill the winter blues was to condense all of the blog entries from my family’s 2012 France trip into a photo book. A great feature of Adobe Lightroom 4 is the book module which provides one with the ability to make books directly from Lightroom’s image catalogs. I used it to advantage to create a two volume book of last September’s trip to France.
In addition to a hard copy version that I had printed through blurb.com, I generated a PDF e-book, which is now available as a free download from this blog.
I had to bust up the book into two volumes because of blurb’s page constraints as well as the sheer number of photos taken on our trip. Volume 1 features Paris, Rouen, Calvados, Bayeux, Basse-Normandie, Mont-Saint-Michel, Malo, Dinard, Chinon, Indre-et-Loire and Chartres.
